Stephanie Deininger is a professional home organizer for clients through the Denver Metro area. She has been helping businesses and people get more organized for over eighteen years and believes that being organized isn't a one-time task, it's a lifestyle.
But you don't have to do it alone, much like the flamingos. Flamingos rely on their flock, or community, for survival. There, it became a symbol for her that no matter what chapter of life you are in, you can adapt and you don’t have to do it alone.
DispatchMom: Tell us a bit about yourself!
Stephanie: I am a professional organizer and productivity specialist. My superpower is optimizing (seizing) the moment without feeling flustered! The Organized Flamingo was created out of our passion for #allthingsorganizing and our hope is to continue to help people find their own paradise and serenity within their busy lives.
I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications and a Masters in Business Administration (MBA).
I am also a member of NAPO National and NAPO Colorado Chapter. In addition to organizing, I love reading, hiking, the beach, and going on road trip adventures with my husband Todd and baby boy Axel. My favorite drinks are hot tea, Aguas Frescas (Mexican fresh fruit waters), red wine, craft beer, and a margarita.
DispatchMom: What was the inspiration behind starting your business?
Stephanie: After years of working with people to get more organized, I could see that more and more people were getting frustrated with disorganization and I want to help as many people feel at ease with their stuff and life. I knew I could make a bigger impact if I started my own company. I believe that organizing should flow with your lifestyle and it doesn't have to be frustrating. I wanted to build a brand that adapted with the times and with our clients’ lives, which is also how I choose the flamingo as our logo. They adapt and they rely on their flock, or community, for survival. There, it became a symbol for me that no matter what chapter of life we are all in, we can adapt and we don’t have to do it alone.
DispatchMom: Who do you aim to serve?
Stephanie: We aim to serve busy people find their own paradise within their home, office, and life, it’s organizing that fits your lifestyle.
DispatchMom: What unique values does your business offer?
Stephanie: The Organized Flamingo provides tools and services that help people be and stay more organized. We are unique in that we do all the research for you. If you have a method you want to use, we will help you implement it. If you don’t know where to start, we are a library of organizing information and will help you choose the right methods for your needs.
DispatchMom: How do you balance your work and family?
Stephanie: I try to make myself aware of what is going on around me professionally and personally. Over the years, I have gotten better at listening to my intuition and I have become self-aware of certain attributes that come out when my life and/or loved ones are out of balance. If any of those attributes start to come out, I make immediate changes to realign. Our lives are ever-changing and I try not to over-plan every minute. On a more tactical level, my calendar is everything. I block out meetings, activities, and downtime, while also leaving 15-minute cushions during the day for the “just in case” moments.
DispatchMom: Any Covid precautions, taken by your business
Stephanie: I wear masks and ask my clients to do the same. I also ask my clients what they are comfortable with and what they are not so I can work around that (which we did before and continue to do, even during non-Covid times)

Stephanie: The Organized Flamingo was created out of our passion and talent for #allthingsorganizing. Our hope is to continue to help people find their own paradise and serenity within their busy lives.
